Our story
Aerial Grid was founded on a single conviction: as drone activity grows, low-altitude airspace cannot remain invisible, fragmented, or ungoverned.
We build Aerial Intelligence - the layer of awareness, insight, and trust between the sky and everyone who depends on it. Our co-founders brought together expertise in distributed systems, hardware engineering, cybersecurity, and systems integration to make that layer real.
We operate as Aerial Grid AG in Switzerland and AerialGrid Private Limited in India. The Swiss parent anchors engineering and platform development. The Indian subsidiary anchors commercial expansion and production scale.
Our mission
Our mission is to make low-altitude airspace safe, transparent, and governed.
We build infrastructure that gives operators the tools to fly responsibly, gives regulators the data to govern accountably, and gives cities and infrastructure operators the visibility to coordinate the sky above their assets.
Our primary public focus is civilian, commercial, and infrastructure-led. The same Aerial Intelligence capabilities can also support dual-use environments where governance, legality, and operational accountability are clear.
Our vision
Our vision is for Aerial Grid to become a foundational infrastructure layer for governed autonomous airspace.
In the coming years, we aim to extend the platform across drone corridors and urban airspace networks, supporting the safe scaling of authorised flight - for inspection operators, public safety teams, infrastructure operations, and the broader drone economy.
Governed autonomous airspace will not arrive through any single product or any single jurisdiction. We are building toward an open, interoperable, accountable foundation.

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Distributed systems expert trained at IIT Roorkee and the University of Florida. Two decades leading multi-million Euro projects across mobile, climate, sustainability, and cloud. Last venture, Terraview, was acquired by Gamaya SA. Brings experience in lean operations and scaling teams across time zones.
Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer
Trinity College alumnus with a background in distributed systems. Experience from Siemens and Intel. Co-authored the OGF OCCI standard. Has led multi-million Euro projects in cloud robotics, data centre automation, and large-scale test infrastructures.
Co-Founder & Chief Systems Officer
University of Rochester alumnus. Worked at Xerox PARC, Raytheon, Navy Research Labs, and other research and engineering organisations. Has led multi-million USD R&D efforts at the University of Florida and holds numerous patents. At Aerial Grid, he leads systems integration and communication security.
Chief Operating Officer
Over 18 years leading finance and operations across corporate and entrepreneurial environments. Brings strategic financial leadership, operational execution, and hands-on business building.
Strategy and Commercial Advisor
IMD MBA alumnus. Executive experience from Syngenta, Intterra, and Gamaya, where he led business turnarounds and M&A integrations. Drives global commercial strategies and partnerships at Aerial Grid.
India Sales & Operations Head
Over 20 years across sales, marketing, and business operations with VIP Industries, Aditya Birla Group, Future Group, and Bombay Dyeing. MBA. Leads India commercial expansion and operations for AerialGrid Private Limited.
